O Come, O Come Emmanuel – 1 John 5:11

By Missy Eversole /

O Come, O Come Emmanuel Throughout my childhood, one of my least favorite Christmas hymns was “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”  It doesn’t have a catchy tune, and it certainly isn’t about getting presents or even Santa. It has a haunting melody and lyrics, and if you listen to it carefully, a desperate plea for…

What are you thankful for?💕

A wonderful practice is to sit down at the end of each day and reflect on 3 things you liked about the day. Every day has joy to be found, and you’ll see it if you are on the lookout for it.

My podcast guest this week teaches the power of gratitude in overcoming challenges and encourages us to cultivate thankfulness in all circumstances.

As one pastor once said, “Thankfulness is a weapon!” Truly, cultivating a life of regular gratitude has even health benefits!

Do you struggle with people-pleasing?

Unfortunately, it’s a common struggle. 😞

Join my guest, Janet Perez Eckles, as we discuss her perspective on living boldly for Jesus and the importance of sharing our stories and the gospel without worrying about others' opinions. 👍

Trust me, friends, this is an episode you NEED to hear! You can find it on Apple, Spotify, or Google Podcast.
