You are Loved!

Today begins the new Friday series, “YOU ARE.” For the next two months, we will be focusing on who we are in Christ.

You Are Loved

Whether you are having the best of days or going through the darkest of times, you are always loved.

The Bible is filled with verse after verse after verse about the love that God has for you.

A love so strong and so unbreakable that even death could not destroy it.

A love that was sacrificed for you.

A love that will give you eternal life.

Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Paul the Apostle wrote to the Galatians in response to the false teachers who were trying to disprove his teachings. By spreading lies, questioning Paul’s authority as an apostle, and teaching a false gospel, these teachers created doubt among the new believers.

In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, he wrote not only to defend these accusations but to be an encourager to live a life for Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Christ doesn’t live just in Paul; He lives in us also. It’s through Christ’s love for us that we have eternal life. In times of trouble, we need to cling to that.

I will be honest with you; this is something that is hard for me to do at times. I get wrapped up in my problems and situations and lose focus on the One I need to lean on the most. It takes a firm shove from the Lord to get me back on track.

This weekend, if you are facing any challenges, I encourage you to cling to the hope that you have in Christ, “who loves you and gave Himself for you.”

Have a blessed weekend, my friends!

Remember, you are a cherished child of God. He loves you!
