Freedom.
Free.
These are the words that are frequently used here in the United States.
Freedom of Religion. Freedom of Speech. Freedom of the Press.
I am particularly fond of these three because I am fully aware that in some countries, openly writing about your faith in Christ is punishable by death.
Never take freedom for granted, friends!
We are Free in Christ
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed,” John 8:36
We are all sinners, and without the death and resurrection of Jesus, we would not have eternal life with God.
Jesus is the Son, and He is the one who liberates us from the penalty and power of sin in our lives.
We are sinners, and we will always be sinners, but with the acceptance of Jesus in our lives and confessing our sins, we will be free to live an eternal life with Him.
As Easter approaches, let us never forget what Jesus did for us. Our sins were nailed up on that cross with Him; forgiveness has been given.
We are free indeed.
