February is the Month of Love – The Love of God, The Love of Others

I laughed so hard when I read this meme yesterday! Due to the extremely frigid temperatures, the boys and I have been home from school and work. With our low of -22, Antarctica was warmer than central Illinois!
I knew that this week would bring bad weather before the meteorologists did, and I have never studied the weather.
This was the week that my husband annually travels out-of-state for his manager’s meeting.
Every year, for the past 16+ years, the weather has been horrible.
EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
It’s now a running joke in our house – when Craig goes to Kansas City, we will have some severe weather event!
February is the Month of Love
A new month begins today, which means that next month is Spring! Hallelujah!
Traditionally, February is a month to focus on romantic love. However, love is so much more than romantic love.
Love is …
The love of our Father.
The love of Jesus.
The love of our children.
The love of our husbands.
The love of our friends and enemies.
The love of one another.
C.S. Lewis once said, “Though our feelings come and go, God’s love for us does not.”
God will never, ever, ever stop loving us!
