Her excitement was contagious as others joined in, and for a split second, I regretted mentioning my son’s birthday. As I held back the tears, I wasn’t offended by what my friend said. My older son turned 18;…

We’re starting off 2026 on the Bold Faith Now podcast with excellent guests and tough, necessary conversations — because this NOW is the time to stand bold in our faith.
What if the battle you’re facing isn’t random… but strategic?
This week on the Bold Faith Now podcast, I’m talking with Athena Dean Holtz about spiritual warfare, forgiveness, and why recognizing the enemy’s tactics is the key to resisting them. 👀⚔️
Her story is powerful. Her wisdom is timely.
And her new book, “No Longer Hidden” is a field guide for every believer who wants to stand firm.

Christmas is a gentle reminder that God came near.
Emmanuel—God with us.
Today and always.
Merry Christmas!
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Today, we light the Christ Candle at the center of the Advent wreath, the center of our hope, and the center of our lives.
Throughout Advent, we’ve waited…
for Hope,
for Peace,
for Joy,
for Love.
And today we remember the One who is all of these.
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11 (ESV)
The Christ Candle shines brightly because the Light of the World has come.
Jesus is not distant, not silent, and not unreachable.
Jesus is Emmanuel — God with us.
No matter what this year has held, no matter what emotions the holidays bring, Jesus steps into our story with a love that doesn’t flicker or fade.
May His light fill your home and your heart, and remind you that you are loved by the Savior who stepped down from His throne for you and for me.
Merry Christmas, sweet friend. He is here!

I’m excited to share something new with you for 2026!
Each month, I’ll be offering a free Bold Faith Scripture Journal—a simple Scripture journaling resource created to help you slow down, spend time in God’s Word, and live with bold faith in everyday life.
In seasons when life feels busy, loud, or uncertain, we don’t need more information.
We need space to sit with God’s Word and let it shape our hearts.
January’s theme is Renewal. It’s an invitation to begin the year refreshed, grounded, and anchored in Truth.
You can download the January Scripture Journal at https://missyeversole.com/resources/
Let’s start the year rooted in the Word—one verse at a time.

The soft glow of the Christmas tree lights always reminds me of this truth:
Jesus is the Light who never dims, even when life feels heavy.
If Christmas brings up mixed emotions for you — grief, joy, longing, or all of the above- I hope this week’s episode encourages your heart.
We’re diving into Scripture, sharing memories (yes… the 80s Cabbage Patch chaos!), and talking honestly about finding hope in hard seasons.
The new Christmas episode is up now! The Bold Faith Now podcast is on your favorite podcast app or at my website: www.missyeversole.com.
