What are you rooted in?

Sooner or later, the wind blows. Life gets hard. Culture gets confusing. Following Jesus may cost us something.

And when that happens, our roots are revealed.

On this week’s Bold Faith Now, I’m talking about why bold faith begins long before the moment we’re called to stand firm. It grows through Scripture, prayer, obedience, and a relationship with Jesus that is being strengthened beneath the surface.

Deep roots are formed before the storm.

When someone asks a tough question about the Bible, you don't need a debate— you need clear, confident answers.

In Unapologetic, Daniel P. Buttafuoco—veteran trial lawyer and Christian apologist—brings the precision of the courtroom to conversations of faith. Drawing from years of cross-examining witnesses and presenting evidence, he equips you to respond like a lawyer: clear, concise, and persuasive. His goal is simple: win people, not just arguments.

This book gives you:

Conversation-ready answers to tough Bible questions originally posed on Quora by seekers and skeptics.
A trial lawyer's approach to evidence, clarity, and persuasion—so you can speak with both confidence and respect.
Scripture and next steps in every chapter, grounding your conversations in truth and practical application.

Welcome Friends!

My name is Missy, and I love Jesus!

I am a Christ-follower, wife, mom, author, speaker, Colson Fellow, and host of the Bold Faith Now podcast. My heart is to encourage believers to live boldly for Jesus in a world that often tells us to stay quiet, blend in, or keep our faith tucked safely in the shadows.

Through writing, speaking, and podcasting, I help believers grow in bold faith, stand firm in truth, and view the world through a biblical worldview. Because following Jesus was never meant to be passive. It is a call to shine His light, speak truth with grace, and take the next obedient step.

My prayer is simple: to point others to Jesus, encourage bold faith, and remind believers that now is the time to live courageously for Him. Join the Bold Faith community and listen to the podcast for encouragement to live out your faith with conviction, clarity, and courage.
