Some Christians experience the presence of God as readily as they feel the sunshine on a summer’s day. Others of us are not so fortunate. For us, God’s presence is often much more difficult to find. Like the psalmists, we struggle to know why God seems to be so distant at moments when we so desperately want him to be close. Seekers in the Hands of an Elusive God explores the tension in Scripture’s presentation of God as both everywhere and elusive and offers paths to pursue God during times of spiritual loneliness.
