What is Bold Faith Now?

What does it look like for a woman who has Bold Faith?

Throughout the rest of 2023, I will share a few thoughts on the importance of living boldly for Jesus and embracing our role as witnesses of His love and truth.

We live in a world that opposes and challenges our relationship with Jesus. Now is the time for Christ-followers to stand firm in our faith and proclaim the Good News fearlessly!

In his Gospel, Mark writes of Jesus telling His followers, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15).

Shine Bright for Jesus

Matthew tells us to be lights of the world, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, emphasis mine).

Living boldly for Jesus can become evident in various ways in our daily lives. It means not conforming to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2) but allowing our actions, words, and attitudes to reflect the love, grace, and truth of our Savior. It means being unapologetic about our faith, even when it may be met with resistance or ridicule.

This also means actively seeking opportunities to share our faith with others, whether it be through conversations, acts of kindness, a smile, or participating in our local Christian communities.

Jesus has entrusted us with the incredible responsibility of spreading His message of hope, redemption, and eternal life. Let us not shy away from this calling but instead embrace it wholeheartedly!

Remember, Jesus promised to be with us always (Matthew 28:20) and to equip us with His Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) to fulfill our purpose as His witnesses. May our lives reflect the light of Jesus, and may we inspire others to join us on this faith journey.
