1 John 4:7-8 GOD IS LOVE

Happy Friday!

I pray you all have had a fantastic week! School and work resumed for us on Tuesday, and I have to admit that it was a rough few days for us to get back into the swing of things!

For those of you who accepted my challenge to just stop on Tuesday, how has your week been going? It’s been a struggle for me to stay off social media, but I have listened to that whisper from the Lord when He says, “Put the phone down.”

Baby steps, my friends. Baby steps.

Weekend Inspiration – 1 John 4:7-8

“Beloved, let us love one another,  for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8

In continuing with Tuesday’s blog post, let us love one another. No matter what differences we may have, we need to be kind, caring, and compassionate to others.

We are called to love, no matter what.

God loves us immensely, flaws and all.

Launch Team

This past week, I was accepted to be on the launch team for Wynter and Jonathan Pitt’s new book, “Emptied: Experiencing the Fullness of a Pour-Out Marriage.” The same day that the Pitts turned in the final revision to this book, Wynter unexpectedly passed away at the age of 38, leaving behind a husband, four daughters, and a thriving ministry. I am honored to be on this team and will be blogging my thoughts and reviews of it next month.

Next Week on the Blog

I am going to begin a monthly series focusing on women of the Bible. As I dig deeper into the Word, I am intrigued by the vast number of women who play an integral part of many situations in Biblical times. While the cultural and historical times are vastly different from those of today, we can still learn a great deal from these women.
