The month of March is here, and with it brings the start of Lent, a new season, our oldest son’s birthday, Spring Break, and our first scheduled college visit. I am ready for the warmer temperatures, but not emotionally prepared for that college visit!
The Word is Active and Alive!
The other night, I saw a commercial for a program that was going to profile the life of Christ. I always cringe when I see these types of shows. There is always an “expert” who says some very condescending remarks about the Bible and will try to disprove it. Those of us who have grown in the Word, know that the words contained within are true. People who are struggling in their faith may be swayed to believe that the Bible is just a fairytale.
2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
Note that it says all scripture and not just some scripture.
Sharper Than Any Two-Edged Sword
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
The Word of God is true.
The Word of God is real.
The Word of God is living and active.
The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword.
That is how powerful the Word of God is.

The recent revelation God has given me is that there is the written word of God and there is the Living Word of God now they are one of the same but they are two. I love the fact that when you are in God’s word you are fellowshipping with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God an intimate relationship and intimate exchange remain in me and I shall remain in you. and then of course all the things that his word promises and all those promises he keeps. God’s word is a necessary ingredient to our Christian walk and as it says In Isaiah 55 His word will not come back void to HIM without accomplishing in us His purpose. just like he says in Philippians 1:6 be confident of this that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus BE CONFIDENT IN HIM FOR HE KEEPS HIS PROMISES ALWAYS!!
or when HE says You have everything you need for life and godliness through your knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and goodness. Knowing God is key how else will you know who you are as His child. All this comes true and is revealed in His word. Praise God for the handbook on life His Living Word!
