What if your view of God as Father has been shaped more by pain than by truth?
This week on the Bold Faith Now podcast, I’m talking with pastor and author Chuck Ammons about his new book, "Reconstructing Dad." Chuck shares his story of fatherlessness, foster care, spiritual healing, and learning to see God through the lens of Jesus.
We talk about rest, striving, fear, and what it means to stop living like orphans and start trusting the faithful heart of the Father.

So let`s talk! Have you ever considered this question before: How does the Hebrew alphabet point to Jesus through pictures of strength, sacrifice, covenant, and peace?
You do not have to be a scholar to dig deeper into God’s Word. Start small, slow down, look up a word, and ask the Lord to open your eyes to the beauty already waiting in Scripture. Remember to live boldly for Jesus and let your light shine bright for Him!

Last week, I attended the wonderful Write to Publish Conference at Wheaton. While I was there, I took a tour of the Wade Center, which houses one of the biggest collections of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and five other amazing authors!
I could hold the first-edition copies of "The Hobbit" and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," see the desks of Lewis and Tolkien, and the actual wardrobe from Lewis’s childhood home! I can`t wait to visit it again!

Welcome Friends!
My name is Missy, and I love Jesus!
I am a Christ-follower, wife, mom, author, speaker, Colson Fellow, and host of the Bold Faith Now podcast. My heart is to encourage believers to live boldly for Jesus in a world that often tells us to stay quiet, blend in, or keep our faith tucked safely in the shadows.
Through writing, speaking, and podcasting, I help believers grow in bold faith, stand firm in truth, and view the world through a biblical worldview. Because following Jesus was never meant to be passive. It is a call to shine His light, speak truth with grace, and take the next obedient step.
My prayer is simple: to point others to Jesus, encourage bold faith, and remind believers that now is the time to live courageously for Him. Join the Bold Faith community and listen to the podcast for encouragement to live out your faith with conviction, clarity, and courage.
