Missy Eversole

Welcome, Friends!

I’m Missy — a Christ-follower, wife, mom, author, Colson Fellow, speaker, and host of the Bold Faith Now podcast.

My heart is to encourage believers to live boldly for Jesus in a world that often tells us to stay quiet, blend in, or keep our faith tucked safely in the shadows.

But friend, this is not the time for quiet, comfortable Christianity. This is the time to step forward, stand firm in truth, speak with love, and let the light of Christ shine through our everyday lives.

I know what it feels like to wrestle with fear, doubt, and insecurity. But I also know what happens when God keeps nudging your heart: He gives you the courage, boldness, and strength to take the next obedient step.

In October 2021, I released my first book, Transformed, Not Conformed: Embracing a Life-Changing Approach to Spiritual Habits, a resource designed to help believers grow deeper in their walk with Christ through simple, life-changing spiritual habits.

Through my writing, speaking, and the Bold Faith Now podcast, I encourage believers to grow in God’s Word, embrace a fearless faith journey, live with unwavering courage, and boldly follow Jesus right where God has placed them.

Because bold faith is not about having it all together; it is about saying yes to Jesus. Sometimes that means showing up, speaking truth, trusting God, taking the next obedient step, and shining for Jesus in a world that desperately needs His light.

Join the Bold Faith community and let it encourage you to stand firm, shine bright, and live boldly for Jesus.

Do you know what God says about you but still struggle to truly believe it?

You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are forgiven.
You are redeemed.
You are a child of God.

This week on the Bold Faith Now podcast, I'm chatting with author and Christian life coach Anne Wooten about our identity in Christ, silencing the inner critic, and replacing the lies we believe with the truth of God's Word.

We're also talking about giving God our "messy yes" when we don't have all the answers.

Because the world doesn't get to define us.

God already has.

Why Did You Choose Me?
Written by Katie!

Imagine how insecure an adopted or fostered child must feel at times, unsure why their biological parents did not keep them and wondering whether their forever family might one day let them go too. Every child needs to hear from their parents that they are loved and wanted, and children from broken homes need to hear it most of all.

My husband and I adopted our three children, and this book grew out of the questions they asked us. I wrote it to lead them to the answer we kept coming back to: there never really was a choice. We knew right away that they were ours.

When I went looking for adoption storybooks to read at bedtime, I found very few written for young children. I wanted parents to have one they could hold in their laps and read to their adopted or fostered kids at the end of the day. A companion devotional is in the works.
