“Jesus Christ did not come into this world to make bad people good; He came into this world to make dead people live.” Lee Strobel
Tomorrow marks the first day of Lent. In just 40 short days, we will be celebrating our resurrected Savior!
Him for Me
In our church, we have a saying, “Him for Me.” We not only say this during the Easter season but throughout the whole year. It’s a reminder that through the shed blood of Christ, we have eternal life. We are loved, and we are saved.
In the past, this time of year tended to sneak up on me. After all, there are no special shopping days or special Easter programs on tv. The Hallmark Channel doesn’t have “A Countdown to Easter,” marathon of movies to get me excited for Easter. Sure, there was an abundance of candy in stores, but nothing stood out to me to prepare for Easter.
After going through one particular Easter, I realized that my heart and mind needed a radical change.
Preparing Your Heart of Easter
As a result of that profound change, I’ve come up with five ways to prepare my heart for Easter. If you are like me and realize that you need a change, I’ve created a downloadable resource for you. I pray that this will encourage you during the Easter season!

Happy Birthday, Grant!
Seventeen years ago today, I became a mom for the first time. Time has flown by, and he is now a junior in high school. Craig and I are so blessed to have him as our son! I love you to the moon and back, Grant!
