Today, as we celebrate Father’s Day, I am dedicating this post to my soulmate and the father of my children:
Happy Father’s Day, Craig!
I don’t even know where to begin! The love that you have for your sons is indescribable. From fishing to hunting, to moderating scholastic bowl matches, to attending track meets, to sitting in a metal folding chair three nights in a row twice a year, you are always at some event in support of our boys.
Your occupation has you traveling a lot, but you never forget to call or text us. There have even been times where I have Facetimed you so you could watch Connor play basketball. And numerous times when you decided to travel to a meeting after the boys went to bed so that you wouldn’t be gone an extra night.
When the boys were babies or toddlers, you were right there with me; changing diapers, giving baths, getting up with them in the middle of the night.
Now that the boys are teenagers (and taller than you!) you are spiritually guiding them into adulthood. The boys listen to you and your advice. They get their hard work ethic and common sense from you! And we can’t forget about the tight-wadness!
There is nothing that makes me happier than hearing all of you talk and laugh… and laugh… and laugh even more.
Happy Father’s Day to my soulmate! I love you!
